The building manager will be aware of your relocation and should advise you on this, otherwise make the proper arrangements yourself. Don’t assume the elevator will be ready upon your arrival.

No parking

One of your responsibilities when moving home is to determine whether or not there are parking restrictions in front of your residence.

If you are a homeowner, you will need to be aware of any community regulations that may affect the loading or unloading of the moving truck.

If you’re moving into a residential building, find out from management if accessible parking is available for a large moving truck, and the time restrictions as well, if any. Lack of adequate parking can result in fines, and additional moving fees.
